Wise Old Moon

There is a sound that emanates from deep within the river canyons of the Southwest, from somewhere high on a lush mountain range in the far North, from the open roads out West. If you listen closely, you’ll hear this sound at a Wise Old Moon show, and you’ll see the sprawling landscape of America in the vivid imagery painted by the band’s songwriting. The music of Wise Old Moon has the ability to take you to a different place in time; paying homage to the longstanding tradition of the folk and roots sound, while breathing new life into American music. Wise Old Moon has showcased its distinct brand of indie roots/rock & Americana at some of the most well-known music halls and listening rooms in the Northeast since forming in late 2013.  The band was recently nominated for a New England music award in the category of ‘Roots Act of the Year,’ and is currently touring behind their sophomore release ‘Don’t Take Off.’
