A balancing act between dancefloor torque and footloose songwriting chops, argonaut&wasp’s funk renaissance blends live instrumentation with the innate dance-ability of electronic production. Their debut EP Future Protocol channels the likes of Prince, Hot Chip, Miami Horror, and LCD Soundsystem. With all four tracks of the EP hitting the Hypem charts, argonaut&wasp have made a powerful statement with their finely-layered record, which bubbles with addictive hooks and melodies.
